Introduction:

" I'm an American, living here just over 2 years. I've always loved water gardens, particularly Japanese. (Have you visited WHO's?) I was lucky enough in the States to have a house with a small pond and now can't live without, wherever I might be."

If you already have a pond, how would you describe its size and appearance? What kind of plants and fish inhabit the pond? If you don't yet have a pond, would you like to learn how to create one? Can you offer (or do you need) any pond equipment?

"My "pond" is an above-ground wood frame with a liner tacked into it, since I live in a rented house and can't dig up the garden. 2 waterlilies and a couple of bog plants. No fish. Found a traditional bamboo spout and rigged it to flow with an aquarium pump."

In what town near Geneva do you live? Can you host one of our informal get-togethers there? Simple snacks and beverages are all we expect, but if you want to make our get-together a bigger party, should we all bring a dish to share?
