Location: Chavannes ch
- Introduction:
- "I recently moved to Chavannes from the US, where I had a large koi pond fed by a waterfall with a two-foot drop. I'll be building a large pond in my new home soon. I plan to have some meetings of the club here in the future. I hope to meet you then."
- Would you like to get some goldfish or aquatic plants from Suzanne and Peter for your own pond? Do you have any fish or plants you'd like to offer to other members?
- "I love the idea of exchanging fish and plants with other pond owners. I'll have none until I build my new pond, but I'll be as generous as I can when I have items to offer. I'd love to learn about the local weather conditions to help me choose hardy varieties of plants and fish."
- How did you learn about our Geneva Area Pond Club? Please specify the web site or bulletin board location or person from whom you learned about us. Will you tell any friends interested in ponds about us too? Membership and meetings are all free.

- If you already have a pond, how would you describe its size and appearance? What kind of plants and fish inhabit the pond? If you don't yet have a pond, would you like to learn how to create one? Can you offer (or do you need) any pond equipment?
- "My old pond was stocked with large koi, so they'd eat any aquatic plants I tried to add. Now that I've seen the lush planting in Suzanne and Peter's ponds, I'm switching to goldfish so that I can create a tropical-paradise look in my new pond. I can use advice from hobbyists experienced with plants, and can offer advice to others interested in koi."
- In what town near Geneva do you live? Can you host one of our informal get-togethers there? Simple snacks and beverages are all we expect, but if you want to make our get-together a bigger party, should we all bring a dish to share?
- "I have a large home and garden in Chavannes, and can host a club meeting here even before I build my pond. After I meet the other members at a regular meeting with snacks, I'd be happy to host and provide all the food for a big dinner-party."

-
Geneva Area Turtle and Tortoise Society
"I never met a more interesting and interested group of people. Whether they knew a lot or just a little about turtles and tortoises, everyone was eager to learn more from the herpetologists at the meeting. This group should grow quickly, and be of benefit to all turtle and tortoise keepers, as well as to their charges."

Geneva Area Pond Club
"Members range from novices planning their first pond to very knowledgeable experts, making a nice mix. All seem friendly, and welcome newcomers enthusiastically."
